Recovery Without Walls
Celebrating 20 Years of Healing and Community
For 20 years, Recovery Without Walls has been dedicated to providing free holistic recovery resources for women facing substance use disorder, grief, trauma, and PTSD. What began as a small, volunteer-driven effort has evolved into a vibrant community of support, serving women from Cape Cod to Maine, and helping individuals reconnect with their health, stability, and sense of purpose.
Our mission is simple: remove barriers to healing. Every service we offer is completely free of charge, ensuring that women in recovery can access meaningful support regardless of financial circumstances.
One of our core programs includes acupuncture and meditation, designed specifically to help regulate the nervous system and support long-term recovery. Over the past six years, we have studied and tracked the impact of these services within our community. The data we have collected consistently shows that these practices help reduce anxiety and stress while addressing many of the precursors and triggers that can lead to relapse. By creating safe spaces for healing and nervous system regulation, we help women build stronger foundations for sustained recovery.
Beyond wellness services, Recovery Without Walls also works to help our clients move forward in life by offering educational support and limited financial assistance when possible. Our goal is to help women rebuild stability, confidence, and opportunity as they navigate their recovery journeys.
As we celebrate this 20-year milestone, we are strengthening our ability to serve more women across the region. In the past year alone, we have developed new partnerships with multiple recovery facilities, sober living homes, and nonprofit organizations across Cape Cod, expanding access to our holistic programs from Falmouth to Provincetown. Through these collaborations, we are now able to offer acupuncture and meditation services directly within recovery communities across the Cape.
This anniversary year is not only about reflecting on the work we have done, it is about sharing the powerful stories of the women we serve. Over the past two decades, countless clients have shared how these services have helped them reduce anxiety, regain confidence, reconnect with community, and build healthier lives in recovery. Their voices and journeys are at the heart of everything we do.
As we look toward the future, Recovery Without Walls is working to raise $80,000 to sustain and expand these free services so we can continue supporting women in recovery throughout our region.
Please help us celebrate 20 years of recovery, resilience, and community support. With your partnership, we can continue removing barriers to healing and ensure that every woman who seeks recovery has access to compassionate, holistic care.
