I will ride my bicycle up the hill and down the hill -then up the hill and down the hill - for 25 miles (yes the shortest route, but cut me some slack because it is my first one and I am new to cycling).

The White Mountain Gran Fondo presented by Bank of New Hampshire is a one day cycling challenge to benefit City Year New Hampshire's work to increase the local and national graduation rate (www.cityyear.org). Gran Fondos are long distance, mass-participation cycling events that have been extremely popular in Europe and are growing fast in the US. City Year is an education-focused nonprofit organization that works to help keep students in school and on track to graduate by uniting teams of diverse, young AmeriCorps members for a year of full-time service in schools.
