Welcome to my Seacoast Cancer 5k fundraising page!
As many of you know, my dad, Barry Fletcher, passed away on Sunday June 28. He fought a courageous two and a half year battle against prostate cancer. Although his life was cut short, he left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with and he will never be forgotten. I have so many of my dad's traits in me and I'll be sure to continue his "legend" status!! :) Dad was treated by many different hospitals but his radiation occurred at Wentworth-Douglass in Dover NH; we really appreciated the love and support from his nurses and doctor there!
My mom, Gerry Fletcher, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3a Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is the strongest woman I know and has begun her own battle against this terrible disease.
So that brings me here.... to the Wentworth-Douglass Seacoast Cancer 5k. I appreciate your support, thank you so much!!! Love ~ Sally

Thank you for your support!!
Our Hospital stands on the foundation of Arioch Wentworth's legacy, but the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital of the early 21st century is vastly different from the small Hospital that opened its doors in 1906. Ongoing philanthropy is an essential predicate for progress and growth. With the fierce challenges of operating a successful contemporary healthcare organization the need for broad gift support is greater than ever.
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's ability to earn and receive generous donations will make us stronger and more resilient than those lacking such a base of support. These gifts will spell the difference between mediocrity and excellence, between adequate facilities and exceptional facilities, between heavy reliance on distant institutions for specialized care and the availability of a full range of services close to our own homes and families. No other gifts will pay such vital, sustained, and universal dividends for the people of the Seacoast region. You and your family can make the difference in assuring this remarkable resource abides for our own time and for the generations to follow.
