Hello friends,

Later this summer, I will be participating in the Vermont 100 mile Endurace Run. Those that know me will know that getting to the place in my life where running ultra marathons has been a huge challenge because I have not "been a runner" but have only grown to enjoy it in the last few years. As a 21 year cancer survivor, I understand these challenges and I understand that I have been truly blessed to be able to do the things that I am doing. Over the next few months, I will be spending many, many hours in training preparing for this event, however, there are people out there for whom just getting out to walk can be a challenge. People who need a little extra assistance to meet the challenge that brings health, fun and passion to their lives. Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. They’re programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months.

I realize that, as the charity of Vermont 100 Endurance Run, the Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports does not benefit those in our local area but I think that if you read about their work and those that they benefit, you will understand that they do a great work. Please consider donating what you can to help support the Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports so that they may continue to support those with needs.

Thank you!

Victor
