Family, friends, colleagues,
For the second year in a row, I will be riding in the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes in Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The event will take place this coming Saturday, 10 September and we’ll be cycling with a small team from United Airlines.
Just like last year, we are fundraising for the Boulder Crest Foundation. Boulder Crest is a wounded warrior retreat and has become a renowned organization aiding combat Veterans, first responders and their families healing from the aftermath of trauma. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation via the link below to our cycling team which will go directly to Boulder Crest. Any amount is appreciated.
Through your tremendous generosity, last year our team raised over $7K for Boulder Crest! We are hoping for a repeat performance this year. And, if you happen to be in the Waynesboro, Virginia area on Saturday, please consider stopping by Stable Craft Brewing where the cycling event will begin and end. We would love to raise a toast with you to all those who have served our great Nation!
Thank you for your support and thank you to our Veterans!
Thanks,
Steve

Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes 2022
Back for 2022 with three road routes and two gravel loops, the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes is better than ever.
Stable Craft Brewing is our host again outside of Waynesboro, VA. It's in the middle of nowhere and everywhere just off I-81 and I-64.
The routes will test your legs and showcase the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. Our rest stops will offer a chance to meet our local Veterans and learn some history as you rest and recover for the next leg over the rolling hills and countryside.
We ride to support our combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the trauma and stress of their war experiences. All funds raised go to Boulder Crest Retreat, which is committed to improving the physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic wellbeing of our nation's military, veterans, first responders, and their family members. BCR programs ensure they have the opportunity to live lives of passion, purpose, and service at home. All the proceeds from the event support this critical program.
This benefit ride is a fundraiser hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars to raise money for Boulder Crest Retreat, a therapeutic and wellness center for combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the stresses of their combat experiences. After twenty years of continuous war in Afghanistan and Iraq, our combat veterans, many of whom have deployed multiple times, and their families are paying a terrible price for their service to the nation. Our event supports Boulder Crest Retreat's mission of turning "struggle into strength". The Veterans of Foreign Wars is a 501(c)(19) charitable organization and all donations to 501(c)(19) are tax deductible.
