Hello friends and family!

I'm doing it again! The VT 100 is a challenge that I look forward to meeting yet again this summer. While running is something that I am passionate about, doing so while fundraising for and giving back to an amazing charity like Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports is something I consider myself aboslutely blessed to be able to do. There are people out there for whom just getting out to walk can be a challenge...people who need a little extra assistance to meet the challenge that brings health, fun and passion to their lives. Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Their programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months.

I personally know people who benefit both from VASS and other programs like it in different parts of the country. My WingMan, Nick, is my favorite little adventurist. He has limited mobility but certainly does not let that keep him from doing absolutely whatever he wants! He has had the opportunity to participate in some pretty sweet adaptive sports opportunities (like waterskiing!!!) thanks to a program a lot like VASS in his state. His parents share pictures and videos of how much fun he's having and I can't even begin to convey just how amazing it is to see his excitement, let alone feel the palpable gratitude his parents have! I'm telling you, there's just no stopping this kid and I LOVE that folks invest in programs that get him and other kids and adults moving!

Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal, too...literally every dollar makes a difference! I promise you will not be sorry for helping someone like Nick enjoy the awesomeness of adaptive sports! Thank you!
