I'm doing the ABC Walk this year in honor of Brian McNamara. I feel very fortunate to have had him as a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Wildwood Elementary School 1976-1978. I have such vivid and fond memories of his classroom, from the winter nerf football games to Newsmakers to his anti-smoking demonstration to carwashes to, of course, the ABC Walk. Those few times I got in trouble, I still remember him being very creative and fair in response. There's nothing like cleaning the bathroom for a week after school to get you to straighten up and fly right. Thanks, Brian.
Anyone wishing to join the "Mac's Pack" team is welcome and encouraged to do so! (Message me on Facebook -- Paul Mange Johansen -- if you'd like his profile photo; you can read his obituary at http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/gazettenet/obituary.aspx?pid=186179245.)
