On December 4, we will be running or walking in this year’s
Hot Chocolate Run to benefit Safe Passage. This great event raises funds for Safe Passage, an organization in Northampton, MA that provides comprehensive, free services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence. One personal experience with this organization is, a number of years ago, I accompanied a client to Safe Passage that was beaten by her boyfriend and 8 mo pregnant. There she was welcomed with advice and shelter. She was well taken care of. She and her little girl are safe now thanks to Safe Passage.
I hope you’ll make a donation and help us meet our fundraising goal. All money raised goes to support Safe Passage’s counseling, advocacy and shelter services, and all contributions are tax deductible.

Safe Passage is the organization in Hampshire County building safety, hope and justice for families who have lived with domestic violence. Adults and kids come to Safe Passage for a variety of programs: an emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, legal advocacy, and so much more.
