Thanks for visiting my Hungry Lion Bike Tour fundraising page. On September 28, 2019 I will be riding my bicycle in the Green Mountains of Vermont and Berkshires of Massachusetts. While doing something that I enjoy immensely, I will also be helping the Whitingham-Halifax Lions to serve their community in a significant way in this event that my late husband Joe Specht founded.
My cover photo is from last year's ride joined by 3 of my inlaws and featuring last years Jersey design I did to commenorate Joe. He had the brilliant idea of having me put my art on the cycling jerseys starting 5 years ago as an incentive for people to raise donations. So make sure you check my smashing new jersey design for this year! It's a great incentive to come ride with us in this really fun event! Feel free to also visit more of my art @ www.AnnColemanGallery.com
The primary purpose of this event is to fight hunger in southern Vermont. Every December the Lions team up with the local Rotary Club to hand deliver and fill the cupboards for hundreds of people in the Deerfield Valley of Southern Vermont with nutritious food staples. For the last three years HLBT has also generated enough funds to write generous checks to the local food bank as well.
Your contribution can make a difference! Thanks so much for your support. I appreciate it and so do a large number of folks in Vermont!
