The mission of Meghan's Light is to support finding a cure for cystic fibrosis and to inspire hope and courage in patients, families and communities impacted by the disease.

Event Timing:
8:30am-10:30am: Check-In for Pre-Registered Participants & Race Day Registration**
10:30am: Kids' Fun Runs
11:00am: Start of 5k Road Race & Family Fun Walk
**Registration will close promptly at 10:30am
Event Details:
Your Registration Fee Includes: event t-shirt* & parking fee.
*Event T-Shirts are guaranteed to all paying participants who register by September 5, 2019.
If the participant is under the age of 18, he or she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
All children aged 12 & under can participate in the walk for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Kids' Fun Runs:
*We will be hosting FREE Fun Runs for kids based on their ages:
2-4 years of age
5-7 years of age
8-10 years of age
* Kids' Fun Runs are contingent upon favorable weather & ground conditions.

As a tribute to Meghan's courageous legacy, the funds raised from this event will benefit:
Baystate Health & Boston Children's Hospital:
- 65 Wellness Wishes: Meghan's Light 65 Wellness Wishes grants 65 health-focused awards for wellness memberships and activities for cystic fibrosis patients at Boston Children's Hospital and will expand this fall to patients at the Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine Cystic Fibrosis Program at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA. The target number 65 references sixty-five roses, a term used since 1965 by young children with cystic fibrosis trying to pronounce the name of their disease.
Boston Children's Hospital:
- Cystic Fibrosis Discovery Fund: Supports Pulmonary and Respiratory Disease research
- Extraordinary Needs Fund: Supporting patient care, staff education, new technologies and treatments, and other initiatives as needed in the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.
