Hello friends and family!
As many of you know, cycling has become an important part of my life over the past several years, and I am in my second season of racing competitively. I recently joined Team ERRACE, whose mission is to raise funds and awareness for cancer treatment, to support the Hartford Hospital Cancer Center and Livestrong Foundation, and to inspire others to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
Being a part of this team means so much to me - not only does it allow me to give back to the community in a meaningful way through this sport that I love, but I am joining this team twenty years after losing my father to pancreatic cancer, when I was nine years old. I also currently have close a family member fighting this disease, and will ride this season in order to honor both her and my father's memory.
I am so happy to be a part of this incredible team, and to race in support of the mission of the ERRACE organization.
I hope you will consider supporting this cause as well and making a donation to my fundraising page. Better yet, why not register to join us for the ERRACE fundraising ride on July 14th! There are several riding distances to accomodate cyclists at every level :-)
Thank you so much for your support, and I hope to see you out on the roads!
