Dear family and friends,

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!!

On Sunday, October 28, 2018, I will be participating in Exeter Hospital's United in Wellness Cancer Walk & Trick or Treat Trot 5K as the community comes together to help support cancer treatment programs and services at Exeter Hospital's Center for Cancer Care.

First and foremost, I want to say that this list is way too long. For that reason alone, I think it should show us just how much cancer affects the lives of everyone, no matter who you are. Please, consider donating. No amount is too small when it comes to fighting cancer.

Although each of you are gone, you are not forgotten. May your spirit live on in the lives of others still fighting.

Dad--The day you told me you has prostate cancer was the day I realized your mortality. I was faced with harsh reality that I could lose you, and that terrified me. You fought back, as we Feras do, determined as always! As you always said, life isn't easy, but it's worth living--and you continue to show that to me every day.

Mama Hoops--you are a second mother to me, the mother of my best friend. When I found out you had breast cancer, I was devastated. Your resilience in fighting this disease gives us all hope.

Gina -- While I did not know you during your battle with breast cancer, Patrick has told me of how bravely you fought. I don't know what we would do with you and your generous spirit. Your kindness and selflessness is abound in everything you do and we are so grateful for you. I am very lucky to have a mother-in-law as wonderful as you!

Ken -- When Patrick and I found out about your cancer diagnosis, we were shocked and scared. The fact that you overcame this rare form of cancer and endured so much proves just how strong you are. Now you have all the time in the world to soak up that golf course and your garden. I am very lucky to have you as a father-in-law!

Debbie -- Breast cancer sucks, and you've been strong enough to battle it more than once. You should be so proud of all that fighting! I don't know what our family would do without you. We all love you so much!

Uncle Ronnie -- You've been fighting the good fight for so long now! Keep at it! You are so loved!

Sue -- You are a beacon of inspiration to us all. It has been such a privilege to get to know you and work with you--or give report to you--these past two years. You're an amazing nurse, but an even more wonderful person. We all love you and can't wait for you to return. I certainly can't wait to get the party started!

Please consider making a donation to support our local community and those who may be facing their greatest challenge: a cancer diagnosis. Your donation will assist in further strengthening and supporting critical cancer treatment programs and services for patients at Exeter Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care, supporting the commitment to provide exceptional cancer care close to home. In making a donation, your generous support will assist Exeter Hospital in continuing to purchase the latest equipment and technology, implement innovative treatment options and therapies, and provide comprehensive patient support services to those undergoing cancer treatment at The Center for Cancer Care at Exeter Hospital.

P.S.  I welcome any of my family and friends to join me in running or walking as our community comes together for this event. You can learn more at unitedinwellness.org/trickortreattrot
