Next week I’m riding to support Team Joe and The Center for Cancer Care in my hometown of Torrington, CT. Any support gratefully accepted. As you may know, my brother was diagnosed with Leukemia in May of this year. He is one year older than me, and has always led with a sense of adventure (as many of you may know!). He was into cycling before it was such a thing, and helped me buy my first bike, and then made me ride it up the lake road. (I'm sure I was whining then too).
I think what is in our hearts is what moves out into the world. In that spirit, with the support of all of you, I'm riding with lots of love and courage in my heart. And I know Joseph feels it too!
BTW: This is a great cause and ride organized by Joe's (and mine) long time friend Matt Pagano. I’ll peddle up those hills along with Randall Patterson, Patty Maher, Dan Sabia (Patty Sabia), cousins David, Kelly, Lauren and Ally), neighbor Kristin, Grace, Joe, Doug Benedetto, Dan O'Connor. Mom Jo-An Cracco, and Tia Maria Cravanzola are working the tables! Join our team if you ride! Or we would be grateful for whatever support you can offer.
