We all get many requests to help. I try to help whenever I can and I'm sure you all do too. I'm coming to you today to help me raise funds for The SIOR Foundation, an organization that helps young people by providing educational scholarships to young people studying in my industry.
There are certainly more dramatic and heartstring-tugging causes than this. I understand that. This is about education and helping young people succeed. I don't ask often and I'm not asking for much. A few dollars is all I'm looking for.
For my part, I will be riding my bike from Seattle to Portland (about 200 miles) on October 14th with a few like-minded members of group that supports this Foundation.
The true purpose of the SIOR Foundation is to give back to the commercial real estate industry by providing opportunities for up and coming members of our professional community. SIORide Seattle to Portland
This is a two-day event in which bicycle riders can participate by riding and fundraising to benefit The SIOR Foundation. The ride will start in Seattle, WA on Monday, October 14th, 2019 and arrive in Portland OR late in the day on October 15th. Just in time to participate in SIOR FWC 2019.
