Tour de Palm Springs is a CVSPIN organized event designed to raise money for nonprofit organizations in the Coachella Valley. Each year the organizers endeavor to support almost 100 local charities with money raised. Every dollar raised in the Coachella Valley stays in the Coachella Valley.

Bighorn Institute was founded in 1982 and focuses its conservation efforts on the endangered Peninsular bighorn sheep in the Coachella Valley.  The Institute is a privately-funded research organization with a small, dedicated staff.  We have a captive herd of bighorn sheep at our recovery facility and track the bighorn in the wild from Palm Springs to La Quinta.  We provide the state and federal wildlife agencies with important information about the sheep that we gather throughout the year, including reproduction, health, behavior, and demographic data.  We rely on a membership-base and hope you will consider joining us for the 2021 Tour de Palm Springs as we "virtually" walk or ride for the sheep!  Thank you, for your support!
