What's ODRAM? The "One Day Ride Across Michigan" - a bicycle fund raiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Who's TEAM DANNY? Steve Wogaman and Bryan Jones, two staff members of the Chamber Music Society of Detroit (CMSD), are making the 150+ mile ride this year to honor another CMSD staff member, Danny DeRose, who actually has Juvenile (Type One) Diabetes.
Some things to know about the disease:
- It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
- It occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy.
- It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
JDRF is working every day to change this. And every dollar we raise helps them continue to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the community until a cure is found.

ODRAM (One Day Ride Across Michigan)
Be a part of one of the Michigan traditions - 150ish miles in one day or One Day Ride Across Michigan.
