Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm very excited to be raising money during this year’s Bike LUCK event to benefit Camp LUCK and the Lucky Unlimited Cardiac Kids. Bike LUCK has become the premiere cycling event in Charlotte to raise money for kids with CHD (congenital heart disease).
I became involved with the congenital heart community when my son Jacob was born with several critical heart defects. Sadly, we lost Jacob when he was just 17 years old following heart valve surgery. To honor Jacob’s legacy, my family helped establish Camp LUCK which offers support for heart families as well as providing an incredible medically supervised camp for heart kids each year.
I am currently a fabricator with JR Motorsports and have been part of the racing community for over 30 years. I’ve seen firsthand how generous and supportive our friends and racing family can be. It is my hope that you will join JACKSON’s JALOPIES as a participant or a donor and help me send heart kids to Camp LUCK!
Bike LUCK Presented by the Charlotte Knights
Bike LUCK Presented by the Charlotte Knights is the annual charity bicycle ride for Camp LUCK. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of proceeds raised support Camp LUCK!
Camp LUCK provides medically supervised camp experiences for kids with significant heart disease. Camp LUCK transforms our heart kids into Lucky Unlimited Cardiac Kids with programs designed to nurture, educate and support the kids and their families. It’s more than a camp; it’s an attitude … and changing attitudes changes lives. Donations will help sponsor kids who attend Camp LUCK located at Kings Mountain State Park, Blacksburg, South Carolina.
