This is our annual outdoor event to support KCVS, a primary school in the village of Kumi, Uganda. Last year, we dedicated a brand-new Preschool Building that will serve ~90 students. Now, we need to build a suitable restroom facility for the 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds. Please consider helping me make this goal a reality for the children in Kumi.Thank you for any amount you can give!

2024 Kumi Benefit Ride/Hike
Through fundraising spearheaded by Chinese Community United Methodist Church (Oakland, CA) in 2014, a brand new school was opened in the rural area of Kumi, Uganda. It serves village children from ages 3 up through Primary School age. Every year since then, cyclists and hikers have partnered to raise monies that have built dormitories, bathing rooms, a water system, fencing, and an athletic field on the school compound.
Since COVID, our Annual Kumi Benefit Ride/Hike raised funds to build a separate Preschool facility at Kumi Christian Visionary School. This year, we aim to raise $30,000 to add a toilet block next to the Preschool.

Every year since 2015, cyclists and hikers have partnered to raise monies that have continued to build-out the campus, by constructing dormitories, bathing rooms, water systems, fencing, and an athletic field on the school compound.
