Welcome to my page!
I'm fundraising to help build the “The Georgia Hi-Lo Trail”, which will ultimately be a 250-mile paved, road-separated path through small Georgia towns from Athens to Savannah. Once completed, this will be the longest, continuously paved trail in America! Quite a feat. In October, I plan to bicycle 285+ miles over three days from Athens to Savannah to support the construction of this trail.
As many of you know, bicycling is a major part of my life and has helped me make life-long friends and stay physically fit (I thank bicycling for facilitating and maintaining an 80+ pound weight-loss). Expanding trail systems helps keep riders like me safe from busy roads, encourages others to ride, and perhaps takes a few extra cars off the highways.
I hope you’ll join me in supporting “The Georgia Hi-Lo Trail” project by giving a donation and making this trail a reality.

Georgia Hi-Lo Trail is a nonprofit 501(c)3 dedicated to driving opportunity and development to empower rural Georgia by connecting an eight-county region with America's longest trail.
When complete the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail will connect to the Firefly Trail. The two trail projects will form a 250-mile paved, road-separated path through small Georgia towns from Athens to Savannah.
Firefly Trail, Inc. began their work in 2007 and have been true “trail blazers” across small communities in Georgia. The Firefly Trail begins in Athens and will end in Union Point, a distance of 39 miles when completed. Georgia Hi-Lo Trail will connect to the Firefly Trail in Union Point and continue on to Savannah through a 211-mile stretch through rural Georgia. Together the trails will connect communities and small towns from Athens to Savannah, driving opportunity for economic development and improved quality of life in rural Georgia.
