Dear Friends + Family:
I am excited to announce that on June 17th, I will be participating in a charity bike ride to support Bikes Fight Cancer and raise funds for the Cancer Care Patient Fund at the Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. As many of you know, my father was a patient at Cooley for over 22 years, and I am grateful for the care he received at the Center from their extraordinary and dedicated team. I want to help other families in our community who may be facing financial hardships as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
The Cancer Care Patient Fund is an wonderful resource that provides support for patients and their families during one of the most challenging times of their lives. The funds raised will go directly towards helping those who need it the most as they navigate through the course of their treatment.
On July 1st, 2023, my father would have been turning 64, and it marks the second anniversary of his passing. In honor of his birth year, I am hoping to raise $1,959. This ride is not just about raising funds; it is also about celebrating my dad's life and the legacy he left. He was an incredible man who touched the lives of so many people, and I want to honor him in a way that is meaningful and impactful.
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support in this endeavor. Every donation counts, regardless of the size! And, 100% of the funds raised will go directly towards helping cancer patients and their families, so you can be confident that your support will be put to good work.
Please consider making a donation to support my ride and the Cancer Care Patient Fund. You can donate securely online or by mail, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Many thanks for your consideration!
Warmly,
Jenny
