Minnesota Ironman Bike Ride
The Minnesota Ironman Ride serves as not only a community-building event for Minnesota cyclists to test their fitness on the roads outside Shakopee, but also as the main fundraising event for Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN, a 501c3 non-profit. After covering the costs of hosting the ride, all proceeds are used to further our mission of refusrbishing bikes and getting them into the hands of kids who need them.
Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need.
We give away more refurbished bikes than anyone in the world and are a passionate group of cyclists who love giving as much as riding. It's our goal to have every child feel the joys and freedom of riding a bike.
