Mental Health care is an important part of my daily life. Not only do I work within the field, I also advocate passionately for mental health reform within the goverment, legal and health avenues. I'm very excited to raise funds for awareness about mental health and help to support mental health services. It is a cause that is very important to me.

Lakes Region 5K for Mental Health
The month of May is recognized nationally as Mental Health Awareness Month. The Nucar Lakes Region 5k for Mental Health is a regional event to raise awareness and support vital integrated mental and physical health services provided by Lakes Region Mental Health Center, the state-designated community mental health center providing integrated mental and physical health care to residents of 24 towns in central New Hampshire. LRMHC provides services to up to 4,000 people and $900,000 in charity care each year.

Lakes Region Mental Health Center is a 501c3 community mental health center (CMHC) founded in 1966. LRMHC is the New Hampshire designated community mental health center that serves 24 towns in Belknap and southern Grafton counties. Lakes Region Mental Health Center's mission is to provide integrated mental and physical health care for people with mental illness, while creating wellness and understanding in our communities.
