On June 14th, I will be pedaling my way through the pioneer valley to raise money for Bikes Fight Cancer. 100% of all rider raised funds will support valuable cancer care services to patients, families and caregivers as well as funding hospitals focused on advancing cancer research.
I'm doing this ride with my husband and best biking buddy John and members of my Paradise City Dragon Boat team. I'm pedalling to support my amazing Aunt Sally who is currently battling cancer in Switzerland and does not have access to some of the wonderful resources we have here, Cancer House of Hope and Cancer Connection, that helped me navigate my way through my own cancer misadventure. I'm also pedalling for my dragon teammate Jen who is battling cancer for the 3rd time around and needs all the support she can get.

Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride, Powered by Valley Solar is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like a kids trail ride, awesome food trucks, and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!

Bikes Fight Cancer Inc. is a Western Massachusetts 501(c)(3) that uses its love of bikes to lessen the burden of a cancer diagnosis for patients, families, and caregivers. Through athletic events like the Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride and the Bikes Fight Cancer PMC Team, we aim to empower a community to participate, donate, and fundraise in the fight against cancer.
