On June 14th, I will be biking around the Pioneer Valley with teammates from Paradise City, my cancer survivor/supporter dragon boat team, to raise money for Bikes Fight Cancer, to send a message of support to our teammates and everyone else contending with cancer, and to honor the memory of the beloveds we've lost to this disease. Honestly, I don't like bikes all that much - I'd rather be paddling than pedaling - but I bleeping hate how cancer savages the well-being of beautiful humans so I am going to put on the padded shorts and anti-chafe balm and pedal for them. 100% of all rider raised funds will support valuable cancer care services to patients, families and caregivers as well as funding hospitals focused on advancing cancer research. Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride, Powered by Valley Solar is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like a kids trail ride, awesome food trucks, and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!

Bikes Fight Cancer Inc. is a Western Massachusetts 501(c)(3) that uses its love of bikes to lessen the burden of a cancer diagnosis for patients, families, and caregivers.
