I'm riding the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes to support our combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the trauma and stress of their war experiences. The Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes donates ALL PROCEEDS to the Boulder Crest Foundation (BCF), which is committed to improving the physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic well-being of our nation's military, veterans, first responders, and their family members. BCF programs ensure they have the opportunity to live lives of passion, purpose, and service at home. Twelve Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Posts from the central Shenandoah Valley organize this wonderful event and all the proceeds from the event support this critical program.

A personal message from me.

-Your donations are real dollars going to help real people and their families in a true time of need. 

-First, your contribution, no matter the amount, will help to build and maintain the best facilities right here in VIrginia. Second, it will increase the range and effectiveness of their outreach program to cut through the stigma of the "Im ok-I can deal with it" culture. Third, it will allow them to recruit a staff that is second to none to treat the destructive and deadly unseen emotional/mental injuries.

-Finally, you will be part of shining the brightest light of triumph over the darkest of addictions. repairing the broken tenets of strained relationships, and ultimately saving the life of a hero who is convinced life is not worth living.

This benefit ride is a fundraiser hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) to raise money for Boulder Crest Foundation, a therapeutic and wellness center for combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the stresses of their combat experiences. After twenty years of continuous war in Afghanistan and Iraq, our combat veterans, many of whom have deployed multiple times, and their families are paying a terrible price for their service to the nation. Our event supports Boulder Crest Foundation's mission of turning "struggle into strength" and enables combat veterans to attend BCF's posttraumatic growth programs at no cost.  Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes is organized by Valley Veterans, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations to Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes are tax deductible.
