Back for 2024 with three new road routes in a new part of the Shenandoah Valley, the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes is better than ever. 

Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery, near Raphine, Virginia is our host for this year. It's just off I-81 with easy access from the interstate. 

The routes will test your legs and showcase the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. Our rest stops will offer a chance to meet our local Veterans and learn some history as you rest and recover for the next leg over the rolling hills and countryside. 

We ride to support our combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the trauma and stress of their war experiences. All funds raised go to Boulder Crest Foundation, which is committed to improving the physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic wellbeing of our nation's military, veterans, first responders, and their family members. BCF programs ensure they have the opportunity to live lives of passion, purpose, and service at home. All the proceeds from the event support this critical program.

This benefit ride is a fundraiser hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars to raise money for Boulder Crest Foundation, a therapeutic and wellness center for combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the stresses of their combat experiences. After twenty years of continuous war in Afghanistan and Iraq, our combat veterans, many of whom have deployed multiple times, and their families are paying a terrible price for their service to the nation. Our event supports Boulder Crest Foundation's mission of turning "struggle into strength".  Valley Veterans, Inc. is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit that handles our fundraising.All donations to Valley Veterans, Inc are tax deductible.
