Welcome to my fundraising page! One again, I am participating in the Tour Da Yoop, Eh and Biking 4 Childhood Cancer.
The ride covers 1200 miles in 10 days circling the beautiful Upper Peninsula. The funds I raise through you generous contributions will be used to aid families in the Upper Peninsula who have children battling cancer. Riders are able to meet several families on long the route who have benefited from your generosity.
Many of you donated that last 2 year helping me to reach my goal to raise $1200. Unfortunately, I had to drop out of the ride for the second time due to family illnesses. I lost a sister, Amy, at the tender age of 22, in 1990 from a brain tumor after a courageous 10 year battle and a daughter, Colleen in 2024 due to breast cance. This ride is a mission for me as I know the hardships children and adults with cancer experience including financial, psychological, emotional, pain, side effects from treatment and family disruption. I will be riding for Amy and Colleen and know they will give me the courage and strength to complete the ride.
My goal once again is to raise $1200 or more in donations. Any donation amount, large or small is greatly appreciated.

Tour Da Yoop, Eh™ 2026
Meet the pinnacle of road biking. Tour Da Yoop, Eh is more than a 1,200 mile circuit through some of the most beautiful terrain in the United States. Tour Da Yoop, Eh offers some of the finest road biking in the world. Our little peninsula is covered with expansive roads, free of dangerous traffic, and littered with sparkling waterfalls, unique landmarks, and awe-inspiring lake views. Join us in riding and raising money for U.P. families battling childhood cancer. Come see what it truly means to tour da yoop, eh? We start and end in Manistique, taking a clockwise tour around the Upper Peninsula. Each day is around 120 miles. At 7 am each day, we meet in the parking lot of our host hotel before embarking on the next section. Riders form groups based on their desired speed and follow our route through vast quiet roads until eventually arriving at the next host location. Our Support and Gear Team transports your luggage from location to location. We also provide tools, first aid, food, and water. We also have water stops every 30-40 miles or so depending on the day. SAG vehicles follow the last rider group and other vehicles keep tabs on riders throughout. You can sign up for all 10 days with The Full Experience package, or 1,2 or 3 days and enjoy half of the bike tour with the Western Loop package, dip your toes into Tour Da Yoop, Eh with the Eastern Loop package, or build your own package with individual sections. Your adventure is up to you. Whether you do it all in one go or take it a few sections at a time, the completion of all sections earns you the the right to wear Plaid. The Plaid Jersey marks the finale of an incredible accomplishment.
UP Lions Serve Childhood Cancer mission is to serve children and families in the Upper Peninsula who are battling childhood cancer and other related blood disorders. We believ that when a child is sick, the entire family is affected. Our program focuses on the entire family as they navigate childhood cancer.
The UP Lions Childhood Cancer program offers grants to minimize the finanacial hardship that is directly attributable to their diagnosis, to cover needs for travel, food, medical and household bills.
We also provide opportunities to "Yooper" families to participate in community social gatherings and support groups.
