Pete, the namesake of Pete's Good Vibes was my brother-in-law. When Pete died from brain cancer a few years ago my sister Jennifer(Pete's wife) decided to start a nonprofit in his name. Pete had said one of his biggest regrets is that he didn't help others enough. Now Pete helped others, he just wanted to do more. We were trying to come up with a way to use our barn for a fundraiser, and the Barn's and Beers Bike Tour was born. With your support, the bike tour has become the largest fundraiser for the Pete's Good Vibes Foundation. It's become a great day of fun with family and friends. PGV 2024 Bike Tour
Grab your bike for a fun ride through the rolling hills and scenic country roads of Coopersburg and surrounding areas. Choose from a rolling 23 mile or a more challenging 55 mile ride. Start and finish at a historic barn where you'll meet new friends, enjoy a meal from a local food truck, and craft beer from Funk Brewing. Rest stops and sag wagons are incuded with every route. E-bikes are also welcome. Pete Caldes, the foundation's namesake, absolutely loved bringing people together and enjoying the good times...so come ride with friends, new and old, hang out afterwards and play corn hole, pool, darts, fooseball, air hockey and ping pong. Enjoy a Funk craft beer and take a run through the 40' inflatable obstacle course. This year we will again have basket raffles after the ride! There will be baskets from local businesses and larger prizes to win! We strive to make this bike tour not just about the ride, but also about the destination. So finish the ride, hop off your bike and feel the Good Vibes! All this is included with your entry fee.

Pete’s Good Vibes is a grassroots organization established in memory of Pete Caldes to raise funds and offer support to families fighting cancer. There are no paid employees, all participants are volunteers and, after operating costs, all donations go to benefit the designated recipients of Pete’s Good Vibes. Our mission is to grow our foundation and establish connections at cancer centers in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley area and beyond so that we can provide much needed assistance at a time when families need it most. Established in 2019, in our first year we were able to immediately provide thousands of dollars in financial support to cancer patients.
