Please help me support Camp Carefree!
Once again I am participating in the New England Classic bike tour. This year I am riding with a team I ride with on Zwift, made up of people with Type 1 diabetes, and their friends and family. Over my time riding witih them, I've learned so much more about the disease, and the difficulties involved in living with it. I am thrilled to finally meet and ride with some of TT1 Zwift group in person!
This ride raises funds for Camp Carefree, a camp for children with Type 1 diabetes. I can't imagine being a child learning to live with diabetes. What a gift for them to get to spend time with other kids their age who face the same challenges.
We wil be riding more than 150 miles over 2 days. I'm hoping for nice weather, as we had pouring rain the past two times I've ridden this ride, but either way, we are committed. I'm hoping you'll support me and our team Tyred and Cranky Zwifters in our efforts.
I feel honored to be riding for this cause, anad appreciate your support.
