Alan's Pride
Thank you so much for visiting the Alan's Pride team page. Our team is riding in the Hungry Lion Bike Tour to raise money to help those in southern Vermont who are less fortunate than we are. The Deerfield Valley Lions Club uses the money raised during the ride, to provide meals for the food insecure in southern VT on Thnksgiving and Christmas as well as supporting the local food bank. We ride for this cause in honor of former Lions Club member Alan Stewart.
Vermont Food Insecurity is increasing dramatically
- The most recent data from Feeding America, released in mid-May estimates the number of food insecure people in Vermont has increased by 46% and that child food insecurity in VT has increased by 60%.
Support of any amount is appreciated! Come join us, make a donation, or volunteer!
