Hi Friends, Life update! After a corporate downsizing, my job was eliminated at Jack Black earlier this spring..... I am happy to announce I started my new gig with Alene Candles last month and am l really enjoying it. I am fortunate to work with some amazingly cool people and am proud of the the many great brands that we get to pour candles and diffusers for at our plant in Milford, NH.
I will be in New Hampshire early in August and will be participating in the Delta Dental/Elliot Corporate 5K Road Race in honor of my mom Karen Brown, who fought and ultimately lost her battle with cancer in April.
I would love your support to raise some money for the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care. (below you can see some of the patient programs that your donations will fund.) Alene will match my donations and I hope to be able to contribute a total of $500.

Delta Dental/Elliot Corporate 5K Road Race is on August 6th in downtown Manchester and will provide funding for patient programs and services at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot serving our families, friends, and neighbors.
Funds raised through the Delta Dental/Elliot Corporate Road Race will support patient programs at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot. 100% of your donations will provide funding for programs and services at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care including nutrition assistance and programs, rehabilitation therapy, integrative medicine, and support programs for patients as they manage their journey with cancer. Specialized programs include:
Yoga and meditation
Art Therapy
Journaling classes
Game Nights for cancer survivors
Acupuncture and Reiki
Cooking Classes for specialized and healthy food options during treatment
The Solinsky Center at Elliot Hospital offers radiation oncology, medical oncology with state-of-the-art technology, caring and skilled health care providers, in one convenient location. Along with the expansion of clinical services, our Patient and Family Nurse Navigator Program provides additional support to patients and their caregivers. Nurse navigators help patients with understanding different care options, provide scheduling and billing support, and assist with patient advocacy. Together, we ensure Hope is Here.
