The Run With The Wild 5K/10K hosted annually in Hood River, OR is all about supporting our wildland firefighters! Prior to the event, (April 11th, 2026) we have the chance to raise as much money as we can. 100% of your donation will go to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation to help our wounded firefighters & support families of the fallen. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation fills the gaps that employers and insurance just can't cover. Your donation may be used in many ways, such as helping pay for a plane ticket and hotel room so a loved one can be by a wounded firefighters side, or it may cover costs to return a fallen firefighter home to be laid to rest.
This is an amazing organization that will go to great lengths to support all those in their time of need. Please join me in supporting the Wildland Fire Community by donating to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
Thank you!

WHY: Wildland firefighting is a tremendously hazardous job. The mission of WFF is to support the families of firefighters who have perished or been injured in the line of duty -- their role during medical emergencies and fatality events cannot be understated.
