Thank you for visiting my page. I am happy to be participating in the White Mountain Gran Fondo cycling challenge on August 23, 2014 in support of City Year's work to increase the national graduation rate. The Gran Fondo is a 100 mile bike event through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This century ride incorporates six mountain rated climbs in the course. All donations go to support City Year New Hampshire, a non-profit which targets at risk children and gives additional support to ensure they stay in school, learn, and graduate. For more information on City Year New Hampshire go to their webpage at:

Any support you could provide toward my fundraising goal would be greatly appreciated!
White Mountain Gran Fondo
The White Mountain Gran Fondo presented by Bank of New Hampshire is a one day cycling challenge to benefit City Year New Hampshire's work to increase the local and national graduation rate (www.cityyear.org). Gran Fondos are long distance, mass-participation cycling events that have been extremely popular in Europe and are growing fast in the US. This Gran Fondo is a timed loop through the White Mountains of New Hampshire with three ride options: a 100 mile Gran Fondo, a 50 mile Medio Fondo, and a 25 mile Piccolo Fondo - each a true feat for cyclists seeking adventure with daring terrain and breathtaking scenery. City Year is an education-focused nonprofit organization that works to help keep students in school and on track to graduate by uniting teams of diverse, young AmeriCorps members for a year of full-time service in schools. Evidenced-based research has identified the early-warning indicators allowing us to identify the students likely to drop out of school. By focusing on attendance, behavior, and course performance, corps members are uniquely able to help students and schools succeed.
