This will be my second year doing the Green Beret Challenge, last year was a blast! I was able to raise a little over $2000! I know this year I can certainly do better and my goal this year, while I'm shooting for $5000, is to get as many donations as possible. The sky's the limit and we should do as much as we can to support our veterans!

I am so excited to be participating in the 6th Annual Green Beret with a Mission Challenge. As part of this event, I am raising money for Veterans. Please help me reach my fundraising goal. Any amount will make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families. The money that is raised will go to worthy Veteran service organizations both locally and nationally. Our 6th Annual Green Beret With A Mission Challenge will take place on Saturday, June 27th, 2026. This charity event is designed to give participants a taste of the physical and mental challenges Army Special Forces soldiers face in accomplishing some of their real-world missions. It will be a fun, challenging event led by Army Green Berets!
Participants will be part of a team of 6-12 members that will negotiate a course with multiple stations where they will be required to complete Special Forces mission tasks that will challenge them physically and mentally. At every station, each participant will choose between 2 levels to complete the challenge: Operator or Recruit. Both will do the same challenge, but the operator level will be more physically challenging. Thus, this event can be completed at the Recruit level by individuals of all ages (minimum of 12 years old) and physical abilities while also providing a test of endurance for crossfit and adventure athletes at the Operator level.
The top three scoring teams in both the morning and afternoon sessions will receive awards and prizes. Also, an MVP of each team will be awarded a special award as will the oldest and youngest male & female competitors. After completing the course, everyone is invited to enjoy a BBQ meal and mingle with Army Green Berets (and hear some “Special Forces stories” if so inclined!). This is a truly unique and fun opportunity! Awards will be given to the top fundraising individuals.
A special VIP experience is available for a limited number of teams from our 4- & 5-Star sponsors or teams that commit to raising at least $5000 to support Camp Resilience and the Special Forces Association. The teams will spend the night before the Green Beret With a Mission Challenge at the venue with Green Berets, learn about Special Forces training and missions, and then experience some of the survival and nighttime combat operations training that Green Berets go through. Registration and Fundraising Details
Requirements:
Teams must have a minimum of 6 members up to a maximum of 12. The minimum participant age is 12. Individuals can register on their own and will be added to a team. Also, Participants are encouraged to fundraise to the best of their abilities since all the proceeds go to programs that serve military, veterans and first responders. Part of the score that determines the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams will be based on the total amount raised by each team. More details about fundraising can be found below. *Please bring a backpack and a water bottle. All other equipment will be provided.

• $100 Early Bird Registration: January 1st – February 28th
• $125 General Registration: March 1st – May 31st

Participant Qualifications
- In good health and capable of running long distances/lifting and carrying heavy objects
- Minimum age of 12
- Committed to supporting our veterans and designated charities
- Each team will have between 6-12 members
- Fundraising is not required, but highly encouraged! To further motivate our competitors, there will be fundraising incentives given to the top fundraisers and the amount each team raises will be included in determining the top 3 teams in each session.
Recognition & Awards
- Official GBWMC awards will be presented to the top 3 scoring teams in both the morning and afternoon sessions
- Each team will vote for an MVP who will receive a special award
- The oldest and youngest male and female competitors will receive a special award
General Rules and Details for All Participants
- Please stay on the course at all times
- Medical personnel will be on site for any medical emergencies
- A Green Beret will accompany each team through the challenge
Fundraising
The Green Beret With A Mission Challenge is a fundraiser to help Veterans so we encourage all participants to fundraise to the best of their abilities. Every dollar helps! When you register you will automatically receive a link to a fundraising page. Please use this link to create a unique page for your supporters. Please fundraise through the link that is created through Pledgereg or send funds directly to us payable to Swimming With A Mission Inc and clearly note who should receive the credit for the donation. Fundraising is done as individuals and recognition will be given to the top fundraisers at the event. All incentives will be based on fundraising completed by 6/26. Remember, EVERYONE can fundraise!
Individual Fundraising Incentives:
- GBWMC t-shirt for any individual who raises at least $250
- GBWMC 20 oz travel mug and t-shirt for any individual who raises at least $500
- GBWMC hooded sweatshirt, 20 oz travel mug and t-shirt for any individual who raises at least $1,000
- Signed Green Beret flag, GBWMC hooded sweatshirt, 20 oz travel mug and t-shirt for any individual that raises at least $2,500
- Invite to SWAM VIP reception on 7/11, signed Green Beret flag, GBWMC hooded sweatshirt, 20 oz travel mug and t-shirt for any individual that raises more than $5000
- Other options are available for past participants who already have GBWMC t-shirts or hooded sweatshirts.
Spectator Information
A limited number of spectators will be allowed. All spectators must register, in advance, on a first come first served basis. Cost: $10/adult (18 & older), free for 17 & under. The cost includes bus transportation from the parking area to/from the event venue, a chance to watch their teams complete several of the GBMC stations and a BBQ meal with the team after it has completed the event. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the U.S. Army Special Forces and Green Beret specialties like weapons, demolitions, communications and first aid and to apply camouflage paint and get photos in “full battle rattle.”

We could not do this fabulous event without the help of volunteers. All volunteers MUST register online.
Since being founded in 2017, Swim With A Mission has given almost $13.6 Million to service and support organizations that provide critical services to our Veterans.
Every year, SWAM focuses on important needs in the Veterans community and provides grants to worthy Veteran service and support programs. Each organization submits an application for a grant so we can consider how the money we raise each year can make the most impact in the community. The recipient of the grants provide services and support including mental health services, scholarships for children of a parent who died in service, taking care of homeless Veterans, providing rides and financial assistance to Veterans, providing health care services to Veterans, providing permanent housing for Veterans, K9’s for Veterans, and help with PTSD.
