This summer I will once again be riding in the Second Cycle Summer Ride, taking on a Metric Century – 60 miles to raise critical funds for the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod (ASGCC). I’m writing to ask for your support.
I have been organizing and riding in events for HIV/AIDS for more than 25 years. I ride to raise much-needed funds to support those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and just as importantly, I ride to show them they are not alone. We have not forgotten about them. We are here, and we still care.
ASGCC provides vital, often life-saving services across Cape Cod, including:
- Support and case management for people living with HIV/AIDS
- Free HIV, hepatitis, and STD testing and prevention services
- Harm-reduction services such as syringe services and Narcan access
- Help with housing, food, and other basic needs for clients in crisis
These services offer dignity, stability, and hope to people who are too often stigmatized or struggling just to get by.
This year, my personal goal is to raise more than $5,000, and I would be deeply grateful for your help in reaching and hopefully surpassing that goal.
You can support my ride by making a tax-deductible donation of any amount. Every gift makes a difference:
- $50 can help provide HIV testing and counseling
- $100 can help stock the food pantry for clients in need
- $250 or more can help sustain ongoing care and housing support

If you’re unable to give right now, NO worries, you can still make a powerful impact by sharing my fundraising link with friends, family, or colleagues who may wish to support this cause.
Thank you for considering a gift and for standing with me, once again this year, and with ASGCC in supporting people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Your generosity makes a REAL difference in the lives of those in our community NO matter what the ammount is.
A HUGE hug and thanks as always for your support.
