Thank you so much for helping me ERRACE cancer! Mark endured a 3-1/2 year battle with metastatic esophageal cancer and interstitial fibrosis. He was treated at the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center, Avon who is the beneficiary of this event. Mark left this note behind: "I have really come to appreciate my infusion nurses so much! The ERRACE organization was created by a group of professionals with common goals. Together we strive to raise the awareness of cancer, raise funds for cancer research and to inspire the community to be active and health conscious.

We bring together our expertise from multiple aspects of business management, healthcare, community work, fund-raising and athletic endeavors. We are excited to share a fun, safe and inspiring event with the community for years to come.

Our Annual Event is one big family oriented All-Day party with tons of food from local businesses, entertainment & music, bounce house inflatables, ice cream, massage therapists, giveaways, wonderful people and camaraderie between particpants.  We average around 800 participants each year and 2025 marks our 16th year. 

We offer 100/50/25 mile fulley supported road rides, and a 5k run/walk.  The road rides are in and around the Farmington Valley, up to Westfield (Stanley Park) & Granville MA, around lake Congamond, on some of the best routes in this area.  The 5k run/walk is on the nearby Simsbury Rail Trail.
