Hi Everyone,
My name is Chase Morin. I will be walking in this 5k to support WDH. I want to grow up and be a scientist, maybe I will invent the cure for cancer but I am only 6 years old so it will be awhile. For now, my mom says that I could help by registering for this walk and raising money for WDH. She also told me that this would help me practice for when I run for president. My mom reminded me of people that I know that are sick, some of them are my friends. I hope to raise money to help find medicine to stop people from getting sick. Please help me.
Thank you,
Chase
Our Hospital stands on the foundation of Arioch Wentworth's legacy, but the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital of the early 21st century is vastly different from the small Hospital that opened its doors in 1906. Ongoing philanthropy is an essential predicate for progress and growth. With the fierce challenges of operating a successful contemporary healthcare organization the need for broad gift support is greater than ever.
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's ability to earn and receive generous donations will make us stronger and more resilient than those lacking such a base of support. These gifts will spell the difference between mediocrity and excellence, between adequate facilities and exceptional facilities, between heavy reliance on distant institutions for specialized care and the availability of a full range of services close to our own homes and families. No other gifts will pay such vital, sustained, and universal dividends for the people of the Seacoast region. You and your family can make the difference in assuring this remarkable resource abides for our own time and for the generations to follow.
