Thank you for visiting my BC Race to Educate fundraising page!
This semester for my Community Health Nursing class, my clinical placement is at Saint Columbkille Partnership School located in Brighton. The school partnered with Boston College in 2006, and they attribute much of their success to the teachers who have graduated from the Lynch School of Education. This pre-K through 8 Catholic school displays the diversity of the greater Boston community and 41% of students receive financial aid to attend.
The sixth annual Boston College Race to Educate to benefit Saint Columbkille Partnership School is scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at Boston College. Held on campus, the event features a Kids Fun Run, a 5K Run/Walk and a post-race celebration. This signature annual fundraiser brings together Saint Columbkille families, the Allston-Brighton community, Boston College students and staff, and alumni and friends to support the school and enjoy a day of fun! All race proceeds support the school and are tax deductible.
After working with the school's nurse, Mary Kate Dillon, and getting to know the students and faculty of the school, I have become so passionate about giving each child an opportunity to succeed. Any donations at all are greatly appreciated! If you'd like to register for the 5K on April 30, please visit bcracetoeducate.com
Thank you!
