A Two Mile Run/Walk

Start/finish at the Village Green Hyannis

Beneficiaries: the American Red Cross, Cape, Islands, Southeast MA Chapter

RUNNERS AND WALKERS WELCOME

There are two youth runs associated with the event:

For those 6 and under there will be a one hundred yard dash

For those 7-12 there will be a one half mile run

All youth will receive a medal for participation

A special prize for the youngest finisher.

The first 100 registrants, 13 and over, receive a wick athletic shirt

As well as being an event for fun!!!!! It is also a fundraiser. This is the 100th year of the Red Cross on Cape Cod, We are trying to raise $10,000.00 for the Red Cross, there is a link to a fund raising page in your confirmation e-mails that allows you to donate or fund raise. Along with having FUN!!!!

As the Red Cross can say “We were there”, you can say “We helped out”

Entry Fee:

$20.00 until May 31 ; $22.00 from Jun 1 – June 30;  $25 from July 1 – July 14;  and

day of race

Youth 13-18, $15.00; 7-12, $10.00; 6 and under $0.00

Opens March 10, 2015

On-line: Until June 14 at 5:00 pm

Packet Pick-up and Same Day Registration: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Village Green

Prizes:

 to First Place Female/Male Runners and Walkers

 to 1st, 2nd, and 3d place runners in each age group

Age Groups; 13 – 20, 21-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Starting times

Youth 6 and under start at 6:30

7-12 at 6:40

5k 7:00

Fundraising:

For the top fundraisers, male and female, who raise at least $300.00, the prize is a Brooks Nite Lite Vest

For the second highest, male and female, fundraisers who raise at least $200.00, the prize is an SEMCsports, long sleeve, quarter zip shirt

For the third highest, male and female, fundraisers who raise at least $100.00, the prize is a Strawberry Cycle belt buckle  

For all fundraisers who raise at least $100.00, the Red Cross will give them a Centennial Red Cross pin, the $100.00 equates to $1.00 per year of service to Cape Cod
