Our event is one of the largest economic drivers for Tucson and has had a Direct Economic Impact in the tens of millions of dollars on the local economy.
You might wonder with all the amazing charities we partner with Why El Tour de Tucson has its own fundraising page and where do the funds go?
El Tour De Tucson under Perimeter Bicycling Association of America (PBAA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that exists to promote health and wellness, educate people about the benefits of cycling, and assist 501(c)(3) non-profit charities in promoting their organizations and raising funds to support their organizations.
The El Tour charity reinvests 100% of the funds we raise to help promote cycling. A majority of the funds we raise for the El Tour Charity are distributed to the El Tour charitable partners to ensure their continued success.
If you ride for El Tour De Tucson, we have some special incentives just for you. If you raise $200 you receive Registration to ride in the 40th El Tout Dr Tucson. All of the following incentives are official El Tour merchandise and when you hit these fundraising levels you will recive... $250 Socks, $300 Poster, $400 Cap, $500 Jersey, $600 Arm warmers, $700 Gloves, $800 Shorts or bibs, $900 Vest, $1000 Trophy and Swag.
In addition, there will be some special training and fun rides for the El Tour team including a Mural Tour by Damion Alexander as well as periodic awards for our riders.
Want to ride and don't have a bike. We can help with that as well through our partner Uphill into the Wind.
Are you a runner, jogger or walker? This year El Tour will also Have a 5k run. We would be thrilled if you raised funds and did the 5k. (incentive program to follow)
