Children's Miracle Network
From the smallest of babies to preschoolers and teens, Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) provides life-saving equipment and treatments, as well as education and support groups to kids like Ayden.
In October 2020, 8-year-old Ayden was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes after tests indicated his blood sugar levels were dangerously high.
Ayden spent 7 days in the United Regional Pediatric Unit receiving insulin and fluids while Diabetic Educators taught he and his family necessary skills to manage diabetes at home.
Ayden and his family continue to learn by attending Pediatric Diabetic Education Classes at the United Regional Transition Clinic. Educators teach the critical role of nutrition in diabetes management, answer questions, and provide tips for Ayden to live a normal, active life. This summer Ayden will attend summer camp designed for kids with Diabetes thanks to help from Children’s Miracle Network.
Children’s Miracle Network at United Regional serves 10 counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Montague, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young.
Every cent of your donation to CMN at United Regional helps provide care for children of our neighbors, co-workers, families - and many more.
