Less Cancer Bike Ride America A One Month Personal Mileage Challenge
GET ON YOUR BIKE AND RIDE FOR LESS CANCER!
Friends, Cyclists, Donors, and Volunteers!
Less Cancer is proud to host the 2022 Less Cancer Bike Ride America, a "Ride Where You Are" virtual event from June 3 through July 4. I hope you and your friends, colleagues, fellow bike enthusiasts, and family members will take this opportunity to support our critical work preventing cancer and have fun along the way!
The kick off for this year's ride will feature a concert by The Steel Wheels in Traverse City, MI on June 3rd! Please join us at Mt Holiday - the event will begin at 6:00pm and the concert will start at 7:30pm - if you are in the neighborhood or, if not, have your own kick off party, in person or virtually, anytime between June 3 through July 4 and then start riding!
As soon as you register, you will be a vital part of Less Cancer's unceasing effort to educate communities across this country, and around the world, about the causes of cancer and ways every one of us can help prevent this deadly disease every day.
As soon as you register, you or you and your team can upload your rides all month from June 3 through July 4, 2022.
Thank you for your help in supporting the work of Less Cancer!
WHAT WILL YOUR MILES SUPPORT?
Less Cancer develops educational tools to advance and secure public health addressing increased incidences of cancer. Next Generation Choices Foundation (NGCF or Less Cancer), lesscancer.org, promotes a prevention paradigm for addressing this alarming trend and raises awareness of cancer prevention to make risk reduction and prevention a vital part of the cancer paradigm. This is a departure from previous treatment-focused approaches that talked about beating, conquering, or curing cancer. Many cancers are preventable by reducing risk factors, such as lead corrosion in water supply and infrastructure, use of tobacco products, ultraviolet light exposure, asbestos exposure, specific contaminants, and pollution sources, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices, such as diet, exercise, and nutrition.
