Hello friends and family!

Since I started running ultramarathons, one of my goals has always been to run a 100 mile race by the time I'm 40.  Well, 2020 was going to be the year.... and then I turned 40 and we were catapulted into a global pandemic a week later.  So, here's to 41!  For obvious reasons, the 2020 verion of the Vermont 100 was cancelled.  Thank you to all who donated to me for the 2020 race - your donations helped keep Vermont Adaptive going in what has been an incredibly difficult year for all of us, but especially nonprofit organizations.

Vermont has always been near and dear to my heart as far as trail running is concerned, so I will be giving 100 miles a go in July 2021!  While wrapping my head around running 100 miles still has me a little nauseaus and sweaty-palmed, lacing up my sneakers and heading out the door and onto the trails is something I don't have to give a second thought.    There is so much I take for granted every day. So, joining the Vermont 100 Team Run 2 Empower fundraising team was a total no-brainer!

Not everyone has the opportunity to participate in outdoor sports and activites with ease - enter Vermont Adaptive.

Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Their programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months.

Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive continue to help people living with disabilities thrive in the outdoors.

THANK YOU!!
