Hey friends and family!
******GIVING TUESDAY IS DECEMBER 1st 2020***LET'S DOUBLE OUR DONATIONS*******
Thank you to all who donated to Vermont Adaptive in 2020 on my behalf. I chose to donate the funds we raised TOGETHER in 2020, so Vermont Adaptive could use the money for their amazing athletes in their incredible programs.
Fingers crossed, I'll be embarking on my fourth VT100 on foot this summer. I'm choosing to run again this year with, Team Run 2 Empower. It's a wonderful group of like minded folks who want to share their passion of the outdoors and endurance sports while spreading the awesomeness of what Vermont Adaptive stands for as well as raising money for their incredible programs. Together we can, and with your help, I'm hoping to raise $2,500 for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports.
There's no where I'd rather be the third weekend in July, than Silver Hill with the other crazy runners, riders, crew and volunteers! This event is pure MAGIC for me and my family. We started coming to the VT100 in 2000. I've been blessed to have ridden and completed the VT100 eight times on horseback and have finished three times with my own two feet......remembering two of my favorite VT100 memories...first in 2004, when I was four months prego with Jase...while riding my most favorite horse ever, Song. And second, finishing my third VT100 with my son, Justin pacing me in the last 14 miles. Crossing the line with him was a beautiful moment. Running has empowered me tremendously after my horse accident, giving me strength and courage to reinvent myself. Running soothes my soul, and I am forever grateful for what my body can do....so knowing this is one of Vermont Adaptive's biggest fundraising weekends, I'm excited to be raising money for them while fullfilling my running goals and dreams.....EVERYBODY deserves to enjoy the sports they love.
Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
