Hello friends, family and random strangers! Thank you for checking out my fundraising page for this Cape Cod charity event.
I've signed up to participate in this year's Second Summer Cycle Event across Cape Cod on September 17th to benefit a non-profit organization whose mission is making an impact on the health and wellness of the Cape Cod community. I am planning on riding at least 30 miles (Maybe more. We'll see!) to raise money for Calmer Choice.
Calmer Choice serves children and those who support them, such as educators and parents, through their programming that teaches resiliency, emotional regulation and how to effectively manage stress through mindfulness skills and tools. Their goal is to dimish the risk of violence, substance abuse and other self-destuctive behaviors - promoting happy, health and successful lives. There are over 40,000 people who have benefitted from Calmer Choice programs since they began 13 years ago and the curriculum is proven effective by researchers from Harvard School of Education, Yale, MIT and Tufts. The organization currently serves in three school districts and can grow to serve more children and teachers with the help of fundraising!
I'm writing to ask you to support my participation in this event for Calmer Choice. Please make a donation to the Calmer Choice in my name by visiting my fundraising page at https://www.Pledgereg.com/384737
I hope you'll consider making a donation of any amount to help me reach my fundraising goal! You can learn more about Calmer Choice at http://www.calmerchoice.org.
Thanks so much for your support!
Thanks!
