Hello friends and family!
I am raising funds again for 2026 for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports! For my part, I will be training for and participating in the Vermont 100 Mile Endurance Race this July near Woodstock, VT.
As many of you know, my sister Lauren moved back to Vermont last year with her husband and her two children. Her son, Gardner, has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but has been thriving and is a healthy and happy first grader!! He loves to learn Russian and baffle his teachers with Math as well as play outside in the clean Vermont air.
Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats for children and adults like Gardner, as well as those with a variety of mental and physical challenges and disabilities. Their programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months. Vermont Adaptive also offers financial support for anyone who needs it to participate.
This program will be instrumental in my family's life in Vermont and will provide Gardner with the opportunity to build confidence and independence through sport and recreation in a safe and nurturing environment.
Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
For anyone donating $50 or more, including those who donated last year, you will receive a print of a "Drawing of Vermont" done by Gardner!
Thank you for your time and your support.
