Hello friends & family,

This summer, I’ll be lining up for my fourth attempt at the Vermont 100. It’s been a long time since my last finish — a pair of sub-24-hour runs back in 2017 and 2018 — and returning to this race now feels like the right way to rebuild my strength, my fitness, and my discipline. The VT100 has always been more than a race for me. It’s a reminder of what the body can do with patience, structure, and a long runway of dedication.

But it’s also a reminder that not everyone gets to take movement for granted.

Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports makes sure anyone, regardless of disability or financial means, can experience the joy and freedom of outdoor activity. Their programs span all seasons — skiing, cycling, hiking, paddling, climbing — and they support individuals of all ages and abilities. What they offer goes far beyond sport: confidence, community, independence, and access. All of the things movement has given me over the years, they work to make available to everyone.

Training for the VT100 is a big undertaking, and channeling that effort toward something larger than myself is the best motivation I could ask for. My goal is simple: show up to the start line healthy, prepared, and proud of the work I put in — and, along the way, raise meaningful support for an organization that changes lives every single day.

If you’re able, I’d be grateful for any donation toward my fundraising goal. Every contribution directly supports Vermont Adaptive and the people they serve.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for being part of this effort.

— Jason
