Hello friends and family!
This summer, I am competing in the VT 100 on July 18th, 2026. I'm excited to train hard and to compete this summer, and I'm even more exited to have been selected to join the Run to Empower team. Running for me has always been social, but this will be the first time that I've raced on a team since I moved to Maine twelve years ago.
As a member of Run to Empower, I've commited to raising funds to support Vermont Adaptive. This is such an amazing organization: Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Their programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months. Vermont Adaptive offers financial support for anyone who needs it to participate. Bringing equity and inclusion to sport is an inspiring mission, and I'm honored to be involved in this work.
Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal of raising $2,000 this spring, and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
Thank you!
