Walk for Warmth is an annual charity event sponsored by the Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) to raise funds for the Energy and Housing Assistance Programs. Your support helps WAIM provide housing stability and utilities assistance to our neighbors in need.
Many low-income families are spending more than 10% of their household income to heat their home in addition to rent and other utilities. On top of that, heating costs are predicted to remain high while government funded assistance is decreasing. One hundred percent of the funds raised through this event goes directly to individuals and families who are in need of help, so your gift will make a direct impact. This year marks 32 years of our community coming together in this way to support one another!
Thank you!
