Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
Last December my daughters and I raised over $600.00 in the 10th Annual Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage. This great organization saves, comforts and educates Hampshire County residents who have suffered through domestic violence situations and is working to eradicate it!
This year I'd love to double our Family Contribution! So I'm hoping you'll help me to raise what our whole family did last year.
Will you join me in supporting this AMAZING organization?
You have a Mom, maybe sisters, sisters-in-law, daughters, cousins or nieces, Grandmothers. Take a moment to think about where they could go, how they could escape an abusive relationship. Organizations like Safe Passage are there to offer them a brighter and safer future.
I’ve decided to Step Up for Safe Passage, and I’m asking you to join me.
Please make a donation to support this important work. Safe Passage relies on people like you and me to bring hope, safety, and justice to women and families.
Here are some ways your gift will be put to work:
$30: Resources, support and hope for a woman calling the 24-hour hotline
$55: A survivor's first counseling session. For many of our clients, this is the first time they've felt heard. It's the first time in years that they've felt hopeful.
$120: A drop-in support group session for survivors of domestic violence
$225: Information, advice and support for a survivor facing a divorce or custody dispute
$500: Healing counseling for a child who has witnessed violence
All contributions are tax-deductible, and you’ll receive an emailed receipt immediately after you donate.
You can make a difference! EVERY dollar counts and because I am part of Team WEBS Kathy and Steve Elkins, owners of WEBS, will match EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR RAISED by our team.
Did you see that! EVERY DOLLAR you donate will be doubled!
Thank you so much for your support! If you want to register for the event or learn more about it, visit http://hotchocolaterun.com.
Hot Chocolate Run 2014: Step Up for Safe Passage!
Every day, Safe Passage helps women and children take steps towards a brighter and safer future. Some of these steps are easier, and some are harder. Every step is important.
Take a step towards helping families affected by domestic violence. Make a donation to a participant who is Stepping Up for Safe Passage!
Safe Passage is the organization in Hampshire County building safety, hope and justice for families who have lived with domestic violence. Adults and kids come to Safe Passage for a variety of programs: an emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, legal advocacy, and so much more. We also work to prevent domestic violence before it happens through our community engagement programs. We hope you'll join us in our work by making a donation! Learn more at our website
